Harold E. Murray Jr.

MURRAY, Harold E. Jr., 75, of Beaverdam, passed away on Thursday June 3, 2010, at his home, surrounded by his family. Harold worked most of his life as an independent welding contractor. He also served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and the V.F.W. Harold is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; six children, Bill Short and his wife, Gloria, Timothy Murray, Bonnie Murray, Harold E. Murray III and his wife, April, Ernest Murray and his wife, Jennifer, and Sarah Vaughn and her husband, Ed; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two sisters. A memorial service will be held at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 17420 Shiloh Church Rd., Montpelier, Va., on Sunday, June 6, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Lawrence A. Erbin officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Beaverdam Funeral Home.
