I give all praise and honor to God for the time that He provided Harvey L. (Buck), my "brother" to be physically present with us; however, I know that God doesn't make mistakes. I am happy to know that he is resting and free from the pains and ills of this life. Let us as a family continue to strive for family unity and love that come from God's Word as we strive to uphold the values and teachings of Christian living.

Uncle Buck, you are truly missed! I also can't believe it has been a year...I have many memories of you, your chuckle, and deep singing voice. :) I will cherish these memories, along with the rest of the family, because although you are gone to a better place...you are definitely not forgotten. Much love to you Uncle Buck and the rest of the family!

As I type this I hold back tears. You were more than an uncle, dad, or friend...you were an example to follow. I miss your laugh, your wit, your advice, your love...But I know that you are with Your Heavenly and Earthly father where pain can touch you no more...I thank GOD daily for all that did for me and with me and that my son J had time with you as well...I love you Unc, now and forever...

Love you Uncle Buck!!! It's important to me that J remembers you and the things he did with you. That is one of the reasons why your picture stays very visible in our house. You will always be with us.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family as they continue to mourn the loss of such an inspiration in their life. As a friend to Leticia, I have been blessed hearing her testimony of faith that was greatly influenced by her father. Such a man of God is a great loss to everyone He touched.

I cannot believe that it has been a whole year now, it doesn't seem like it at all. You are really missed Daddy!! But what makes me happy is that I KNOW that you are in a better place and looking down on all of us!!! I love you Daddy and you will forever be in my heart!
