I wish to express my condolences to my cousin Patrick Browns wife and siblings. I am sure no amount of words can express it best how much a "Father" means; but through the years I came to know your father to be a decent man and father to more than you. Mr. Purcell was always a willing ear to hear and give me advice whenever I would call; and I truly appreciate his kindness.For many years he was my link to find out how my best friend Nelson was doing so I will miss him too. Take care and be strong.

Crossing the Bar
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.
