McKUHEN, Irene Roselie Frise, 89, went home to be with her Lord November 26, 2009. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2009 with Pastor Wayne Branch officiating. Interment will be in the Veterans Cemetery in Salisbury. A native of Sheridan County, Wyoming, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Winston Goddin and Harry Allen Frise. She had been a secretary in the banking business for a number of years. She was the wife of the late John Henry McKuhen. In addition to her husband and parents, she also was preceded in death by her infant sister, Virginia Claiborne Frise; and brothers, Allen Trueheart Frise, Edwin Winston Frise and Charles Goddin Kenison Frise. Survivors include her daughters, Annalara Miles and Robert of Kernersville, N.C., Virginia G. Murphy and Terry of Jacksonville, Fla., and Allene E. Lancaster and Louis of Jonesboro, Ark.; sons, William Milhous and Pat of Richmond, Va., James H. McKuhen and Brenda of Tifton, Ga., C. Robert McKuhen and Brenda of Sparta, N.C., and Ronald W. McKuhen of Bloomington, Ill.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will visit with friends from 10 a.m. until time for the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
