Thinking of little Jameelah
Wilma Ann McLean Fleming
November 9, 2011
My "Little Miracle", I miss you as much today as any other day. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. Words can not express the void in my heart. But knowing that you are soaring with your great-grand parents, aunt and uncles, makes it a little easier to bear. I love you and will always remember the way you held on to my finger. Grandma truly misses and loves you.

Dear Family,
I know that you all miss me and still wonder why I could not stay with you. You see, I had to go to my heavenly home. The home God has already prepared for me.
I had to come home to my other family members. They were watching over me as I entered yoor world.
They were there holding on to you, as you held on to me.
They saw the things that would come to pass in my life and asked God to bring me home to them.
I am here with all of them, from both sides of you. We are all together, one big happy family. There is no separation here, just as God planned it.
I know you hurt for me but I am hurting no more. My body is now whole, absent of all flaws.
Please try to understand that I just could not stay. I needed to be here with them so they can care for me in a majestic way.
I love you all and I know that you all love me. I pray that you can now find some peace in knowing that I am at peace and will always have the memories of holding your finger and how much you loved me.
So when you cry for me, cry with joy in your heart. Cry with the knowledge that I am well and away from all the earthly dangers and harms. Cry knowing that God has me in His loving arms.
With all my love, Jameelah Love' Carrington

We all still feel the impact of Little Jameelah in our lives. Though here for such a short time our lives are forever touched by her presence. We love and miss you

As we all suffer pain in life, every time someone young goes home to be with our Father and Lord, I think of how special that person must be for God to spare him/her the sufferings that life on earth may have awaiting that person. With you my niece, Jameelah, being brand new, I'm thinking that your soul was so beautiful that even God couldn't stand to see you suffer anymore. I have no doubt that even though you didn't get to know us well the short time you were here, our family in heaven has so embraced you that you know us even better now and feel as big a part of us as we feel a part of you.
My comfort comes from my faithful belief that I will see you all again some day when you and I will get better acquainted, picking up from our initial connection from you holding on to my finger. Although it may not be clear to everyone, I'm sure that your life's purpose was fulfilled, just quicker than most of us are fulfilling ours.
Love your grand auntie,
Pinky

I light this candle for Jameelah Love' Carrington (Miracle) as a symbol of my love for her. Though she only lived for 17 days, she impacted the lives of many. May her light continue to shine.

Hello my "little Miracle". I just needed to say that I still miss you and think about you a lot. I know you are in good hands with Uncle Jamaal, Aunt Joyce and all your great grandparents. God needed you to be there with them to ease their pains of leaving us here without them. As I write this my eyes are all welled up with great big tears from missing all of you. Just like your Mom, I remember how you held my finger so tight. To me that was your way of reaching me for those you are laughing and playing with right now. Give Uncle Jamaal a big kiss for me and tell him how much I miss him too. Love you all--forever.
Rest sweet "Miracle",
Love Grandma Ann

Hey mama baby I know that it took me a minute to write to you..... I just can't really believe that your not here with me.. I carried you for 8 mths and did everything I could to make sure that you got here and had life.... Well you did for 17 days.... I really enjoyed you while you were here physically even tho i wasn't holdin you or feedin you, but once mama but her finger in your hand you wouldn't let go and that would make me cry like you never wanted me to leave..... is that because you knew you didn't have long and you wanted me there every second...... I wish i would've known that before cause i would have stayed the night with you regardless of all the nurses and noises the machines made..... you are my child and i love you so much...... you brought a different meaning to my life and i think you for that.... your big sistah is always callin you i think yall be talkin cause at night thats when she laugh and talk the most.... i'm happy you come and see her...... My little miracle Jameelah Love' Carrington... you will always be missed but never forgotton..... Mama love you

My little "Miracle" Jameelah Love',
One month ago today, you came forth into this world. A small yet strong baby girl. Our little "Miracle". I was there to see you enter into our lives just as I was there two weeks ago today, when you bid us all goodbye.
Each day of your life, I spent precious moments with you that I will never forget. There's no way to explain the feeling you gave to me each time you tugged on my finger, showing me you were a fighter. I will forever treasure those precious moments spent with you. Your strength gave me a new way of thinking--if such a small baby can fight this hard for life, what's wrong with us adults?
Rest In Peace baby girl--I will love you always.
"And a little child shall lead them."

My Angel Jameelah. You gave me a new look on life. Because of your fight and your will to live, I am a stronger person. I know you are in a better place. Even though I can't see your face I will cherish each and every moment along with my pictures. I will miss your smell and you tugging on my hand. The way you make faces when someone touch your little feet. God bless my baby girl Jameelah Love' Carrington! I will love you forever! From your Auntie God mother Kiprena
