Jim was a long time member of my Mac User Group in the Northern Neck. It was my privilege to know Jim for the 7 years he was part of our group. I have also had the honor of meeting Dixie. I will miss Jim, as I am sure other members of our group will miss him too.

The world is a less jolly, kind place without Jim in it. I have marvelous memories of him starting back in the early '70s in the house in Thoroughgood (fussing gently over the front yard full of Land Rovers), innumerable hunt breakfasts, and most recently at lunch in Williamsburg, comparing the technological wonders of various cell phones. He was a delightful, inquisitive, inspiring person and we'll miss him terribly.
