James GARNER Obituary

GARNER, James L. "Pete," 76, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou. He is survived by a sister, Irene Redford; numerous nieces and nephews. Pete was a retired employee of Union Envelope Co., Richmond. He enjoyed yard sales and flea markets. The family will receive friends 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2009, at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, where services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday. Entombment will follow at Washington Memorial Park, Sandston.

I'll miss him very much. We would always joke with each other. He always made me smile. If he seen me and I wasn't smiling he would always try to get me smiling or laughing. He was so sweet. He also liked to flirt alittle. He was a good man.

I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS,PETE WAS A GREAT PERSON,I WORK FOR BUBBA AND ALSO SOLD AT THE FLEA MARKET.I NEVER SEEN NOT CUTTING UP WITH SOMEBODY,I WILL ALSO MISS HIM AT THE MECHANICSVILLE YARD SALES .WE ALWAYS TOLD EACH OTHER WHERE THE GOOD ONES WERE.THIS IS A GREAT LOSS.WE WILL MISS HIM AT THE PICNIC TABLE AT BUBBA'S.YOUR FRIEND RUTH
