Miss Jane was a wonderful soul. Our family has known her since we were children; as she taught all of us in Sunday School at some point in our lives. Myself, my husband and both my children learned so much from Miss Jane and she will always be in our hearts.

Miss Jane taught my husband in Sunday School and he is now 67 years old. She taught our children who are now 44 years old and 40 years old. She taught my grandchildren who are 21 years old to 10 years old. What a great teacher she was. By example she lead her life for others to see that the christian life is a happy life, bless life and your rewards are in heaven. I shall miss her dearly and I hope through my teaching sunday school and example is a tribute to Miss Jane.

I am sorry to see Miss Jane leave us here but know now she is in a much better place. I will always hold a special place in my heart and life for her not only as my Sunday School teacher but also a kind friend. Many of my church family often wondered why she, Fannie & Jackie called me "Hamburg" -- well here is the rest of the story...Many times whether after church or really any day of the week that my family may have stopped into the McDonalds on Broad St., we would frequently see Miss Jane, Fannie & Jackie there and we would go sit with them not only to enjoy our "Hamburg"ers but each other's company as well so they began calling me "Hamburg" everytime they would see me, church included! :-) I will always keep these fond memories near and dear to me. I will miss you but I know I will see you again one day!

Miss Jane was my Sunday School teacher when I was 10 and 11 years old. As a 30 year old man with children of my own, I can now fully appreciate the lessons she taught me. I am greatful for the time I spent with her. Miss Jane's service to her church family serves as a great example to us all. Our loss is heaven's gain.

I have known Jane for 61 years - I am 63 years old now - so Jane has
watched me grow from a little child into a mature adult. I met Jane & her Mother and Jackie through Jane's Grandmother - who lived near me. Her Grandmother - Grandma Mallory " was everyone's grandmother.
I will always remember Jane as being such a beautiful and wonderful
Christian lady. She loved her Lord to it's fullest. She always had a
smile and a pleasant word for everyone around her. Jane was such a kind & caring lady and knew no strangers. She would try to help anyone who needed help. She was dedicated throughout her whole life to taking care of her beloved Mother. Jane was always a Lady and
always put others before herself.
Even in Jane's own illness in her last years - she still attended Church
services whenever she could. She was dedicated to serving her Lord
in whatever direction He guided her. She was always so concerned about today's young people and offered her caring and guidance to
those with whom she came in contact. Her Christian Faith made a
deep impression on me my entire life. She was an amazing example
of one of God's children - who used her own life as an example for us
to follow.
Jackie, I know you will miss your beloved friend -- you were like sisters. You were a Faithful Friend to Jane and to her Mother right up until the end. May God Bless and comfort you with His Love.
We will miss Jane - but thank God that she is no longer suffering or
struggling. Although she was sick for a number of years - she was
never a complaining person - she just always put her Faith in God.
She will be missed by so many. God held her in His arms on Tuesday and carried her to her Heavenly Home - where she now is
free of any pain or discomfort - her body has been made whole. Jane
has accomplished her goal of her lifetime - to be in her Heavenly Home. She has served her God well. She has completed her mission here on this earth. She is now at Peace.
May God Bless Jane's Family and Friends with His Comfort and His
Blessings.
May God Bless.
