Jerry Clayton HEATH

HEATH, Jerry Clayton, 75, of Prince George, died on Monday, January 4, 2010. Born on December 30, 1934 in Richmond, Va., he was the son of the late Willard and Hilma Heath. Jerry served his country in the U.S. Army and retired after 30 years of service from C&P Telephone Company of Virginia. He was a "mall walker" at Southpark Mall. Jerry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Theresa A. Heath; son, Clay Heath and his wife, Kathy; brothers-in-law, Phil Diacont, who was a primary caregiver of Jerry's, and Danny Ray Diacont and his wife, Triena. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service Thursday, January 7, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice, 3916 South Crater Rd., Petersburg, Va. 23805.
