John MANN Obituary

MANN, John E. Sr., age 73, of Midlothian, was reunited with his family in Heaven on Saturday, November 7, 2009. He is survived by four daughters, Freida Mann, Teresa Johnson, Tammy Mann and Crystal Mann; a son, John E. Mann Jr.; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Peggy Crump. He was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers. Mr. Mann was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He had a strong faith in God which he instilled in his children. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 9, at the Chesterfield Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 14301 Ashbrook Parkway, where funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 10. Interment 3 p.m., at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Charlotte Courthouse. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Humane Society of Richmond, 2519 Hermitage Road, Richmond, Va. 23220.
