John Steven STELBASKY

STELBASKY, John Steven, 58, lovingly remembered as Johnny, departed this life to be with the Lord on Friday, October 30, 2009. He was the only child of the late Julie Agnes and John George Stelbasky Sr. Raised in Norfolk, Johnny came to Richmond in 2004 to work for St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Within the church, he found a family of friends and took great pleasure in devoting his time to them. He will be greatly missed by Robert "Butch" Griner, M.C. Yarbourgh, Linda Pitts, and all the staff and parishioners at St. Paul's. Special thanks to all of the people who helped Johnny through his last few difficult months of illness. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 815 E. Grace Street. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Emmaus Ministry at St. Paul's in Johnny's memory.
