My heart goes to each of you during this difficult time. Mr. Tyree was a great man. He always greeted me every time I saw him with a big smile, a hug and a story about how we were related. He was only meant to stay with us for a little while as he is resting with God now. Know that now, he is no longer suffering and is at peace. Let that thought of him being at peace give you comfort within your own heart and spirits.

I will continue to uplift each and every one of you in prayer.

Corrected Copy especially for one of my former Teachers:

A true community leader. He broke down barriers in the Virginia Education System especially in Charles City County. A Teacher, Principal and later he assumed the position of Superintendent. He was also a mentor to me as I began my second career and it is greatly appreciated. May the Lord keep his precious hands on the family during these trying times.

Phyllis and Family,
Mr. Tyree was a gentle giant who will be missed by our entire community; because, he made a difference in so many lives.

May God’s grace and mercy embrace you and give you strength as you grieve the loss of your beloved father.

Love,

Torski Dobson-Arnold

Mr. Tyree and his thoughtfulness meant everything to me and my family. My mom was managing a separation from Dad and we needed a place of our own after staying with family for a few months. Mr. Tyree allowed us to rent a home from him for the next 8-10 years and offered more than just a house, but a certain level of normalcy in our world. Mr. Tyree was a very kind and empathetic individual and he will always be loved and remembered for that. Phyllis, Trina & Amelia, may HE comfort you during your time of sorrow but know that he touched so many lives and hearts during his time here with us. May God bless you and keep you.

When you get a moment, please reflect on Pslam 34: 17 & 18 which says "They cried out, and Jehovah GOD himself heard,
And out of all their distresses he delivered them. HE is near to those that are broken at heart;
And those who are crushed in spirit he saves."

Always family,

Toi'
