CARLSON, Julie Ann, 36, of Goochland, formerly of Ruther Glen, died December 9, 2009. She attended the University of Alabama - Birmingham and worked in the health care field in Richmond. Survivors include her parents, Robert and Frances Carlson of Ruther Glen; a sister, Natalie Drawdy and her husband, Jason, of Mechanicsville; her nephews and niece, Andrew, Brian, Michael and Katie Drawdy; her paternal grandmother, Lena C. Carlson; and her maternal grandmother, Ruth S. Pickett. A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 12 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green, with Pastor Jamie Eads officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Goochland Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company 5, P.O. Box 265 Goochland, Va. 23063.
