Dear Kathi and Ted,
Your Mother was a wonderful friend and neighbor who I shall always remember with a great deal of love. She was thoughtful and helpful to my family and me over all these many years and I have fond memories of you both playing with my children. I pray that God will strengthen both of you spiritually in adjusting to your Mother's absence. She was a fine Christian lady.
I am sorry that I could not be there with you at this time.

I was a friend and caretaker for Maxine Meador, your mom's friend, both of these ladies are now in Heaven, catching up on each. I am so glad I saw your Mom at Mechanicsville Drug Store, and she remembered me, and remembered that I was a Clown,Flapjacks, is my name, that was recently, I believed the lady with her was her Wednesday friend. We always loved to talk about our cats. I will be praying for your family and friends.

Dear Ted, Kathi, Rick and family,

How sorry I am to learn of your mother's passing. I spoke with her right after Katrina to make sure you were okay. The moment I heard her voice it took me back to our high school years. She was always so kind to me. I hope she has been reunited with your Dad and that they are both at peace. The thoughts and prayers of all your school friends who were lucky enough to know your mother are with you.

Tobit,3:11
(Sarah) At that time, then, she spread out her hands, and facing the window, poured out her prayer: "Blessed are you, O Lord, merciful God, and blessed is your holy and honorable name. Blessed are you in all your works forever!"

We feel blessed to call Mrs. Crowe our friend. While she will be truly missed, her wonderful light and gifts endure among us always.

Kathi and Ted, I too, am sorry to hear of your mom's passing. My mother, Janet Clarke, always thanked your mom for not wasting time in "dragging" her out after the death of my father. Hopefully now, their friendship can resume. E.C."Trip" Clarke, III
