JONES, Kathy Loretta Artist, departed this life on Wednesday, October 28, 2009. She leaves to forever cherish her memory her father, Amos Artist Jr.; the love of her life, Raymond E. Robinson; two sons, Derrick Artist (Elita) and Kevin Robinson; daughter, Janell Robinson; two stepchildren, Patrice Reynolds (Tony) and Raymond Robinson Jr.; five grandchildren, Aisha, Devin, MaRay, Deymond and Danielle; two sisters, Vanester Artist Williams (Rick) of Clinton, Md. and Gloria Artist Harris (Carl); seven brothers, Wayne, Michael, Amos, Ray (Carol), Floyd (Roberta), Ronnie and Tyrone (Andrea); four uncles, four aunts; godchild, Pam Foster; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; one devoted friend, Johnette Nixon. Remains rest at Chiles Funeral Home, 2100 Fairmount Ave. Family will receive friends Friday, 11 a.m., at Fountain of Deliverance Church, 3800 Broad Rock Rd., where funeral services will be held at 12 noon. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.

I MET KATHY THROUGH LOUIS COLES, OVER 30 YEARS AGO. ALTHOUGH WE HAVE NOT SPOKEN FOR SOME YEARS NOW MY PRAYERS AND HEART FELT SYMPATH GO OUT TO HER FAMILY AND ESPECIALLY HER CHILDREN. SHE WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON AND WILL BE MISSED BY MANY.
