STALEY, Kaye Nicholson, went to be with the Lord on November 20, 2012. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Nicholson, whom she loved and adored. She is survived by her husband, Larry Staley; her children, Melissa and Jason; her mother, Edith Nicholson, whom she loved and cherished and helped give Kaye a good laugh each day; two sisters, Connie Smiley (Leo) and Kim Crocker (Mark); a family of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, as well as her cats, which she enjoyed daily. Kaye was from Chase City, Virginia, attended Bluestone High School and worked in the medical field for over 20 years. Kaye was a kind and gentle person who never met a stranger. Her smile and laughter inspired everyone who met her. She was truly an angel that will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your local SPCA. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
