MASON, Lawrence L., 89, of Henrico, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Margaret Mason; and son, Stephen D. Mason. Lawrence is survived by his son, Larry L. Mason (Andrea); grandchildren, Nicholas A. Mason, Lawrence Mason II and Joey Mason. He was a retired production manager for the Richmond News Leader and a member of New Bridge Baptist Church. Lawrence was an Army veteran. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 8, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 9. Interment will be at Washington Memorial Park.
