Lillie Clary Obituary

Published by Richmond Times-Dispatch on Oct. 20, 2010.
CLARY, Lillie Viola Lynch. In loving memory of a great woman, Lillie Viola Lynch Clary, 82, who passed away Tuesday morning October 19, 2010 in South Hill at Community Memorial Healthcenter. Lillie lived a fruitful life, one that included being a loving and nurturing mother, grandmother, wife, and sister just to name a few. If wealth was based on long-lasting friendships, Lillie would have been the richest woman in Brunswick County. Lillie Clary will be greatly missed by all who ever came in contact with her genuine kindness and unmatchable spirit. She is now resting high up on the mountain. Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Thomas Clary, and is survived by one son, Garnett Thomas Clary of Lawrenceville; three grandchildren, Crystal Clary Morris of Coleville, Calif., Joshua Thomas Clary of Raleigh, N.C., and Joseph Roy Clary of South Hill; one great-grandchild, Ethan Dale Morris of Coleville, Calif.; and two sisters, Peggy Eudy of Suffolk and Doris Lucado of Chesapeake. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday at Williams Funeral Home with interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Lawrenceville. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 386 Gasburg, Va. 23857.

Tommy and I would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to the Clary and Eudy families. Lillie was a strong, wonderful woman and a good friend. Life in Suffolk will never be the same without her visits to Peggy's house.
God Bless you Lillie, rest in Peace!
Love, Tommy and Carolyn Dail
