Louis HEADLEY Obituary

HEADLEY, Louis Watson, crossed the bar on October 31, 2009. "Pop," 90, of Richmond and Callao, Virginia was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Hale-Headley; his parents, Lindsey and Hilda Headley of Callao; his brother, Arthur Headley; and his sister, Garnet Headley. He is survived by four children and their spouses, his daughter, Bonnie and Mike Burger, and his three sons, Louis and Barbara Headley, Bill and Judy Headley, Dennis and Marilyn Headley; his sister, Julia Bowen; and his good friend, Bayne O'Brien. Pop is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and three nieces. All of us will miss him greatly. He was a skilled craftsman in carpentry, masonry, and cabinetry, and loved working with his hands, and continued working into his late 80s. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Gibeon Baptist Church in Village, Virginia. A celebration of life memorial will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009, location to be announced later. Online condolences may be made on welchfuneralhomeva.com.
