Lucye Dodd Obituary

DODD, Lucye Coleman, 93, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2009 in Richmond. She was the wife of the late Stafford Levi Dodd. Born July 1916 in Appomattox County, she was a daughter of the late Walter Lee and Mittie Bodell Coleman. She was a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Concord and a retired employee of the former Lawyers Title Insurance Company in Richmond. She is survived by eight nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Driskill Funeral Chapel in Amherst, 434-946-5529, with Rev. Timothy R. Earnhardt officiating. Burial will follow in the Amherst Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.
