WILLING, Margaret "Kitty" Anderson, of Bon Air, died Monday, October 19, 2009. She was born in Amelia, Va. to Ida Mae Hawks and Ephraim Anderson. Kitty was preceded in death by her husband, Randall "Buddy" Willing. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Bieging and her husband, David Bieging; sons, Charles Willing and Mark Willing and his wife, Lisa Bartholomew; grandchildren, Shannon Nicole Willing, Emma Sameth, Sarah Johnson, Lindsey and Laura Bieging, Jackson, Marshall and Walker Willing; and one great-grandchild, Zachary Dickerson. Kitty grew up in a family of 13 children and is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Morris, Allison Boyles, Shirley Martin and Ernestine Poore; and her brothers, Douglas Anderson, Joseph Anderson and Aubrey Anderson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Kitty's life's work included a business career and serving as hostess for USO during WWII. Foremost, she was a devoted mother and grandmother and a great friend to everyone who knew her. She was a past member of the Bon Air Women's Club and a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church for 50 years and an avid Bridge player. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 8706 Quaker Lane, Bon Air, Va. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 8706 Quaker Lane, Bon Air, Va. 23235; Epworth United Methodist Church c/o Jack Easter, 300 Blue Grass Rd., Midlothian, Va. 23114; or to a charity of your choice.
