May God continue to keep and bless you all during this difficult time. Ms. Margaret will be greatly missed in the Newtowne Community. She was so full of life and joy and always had a smile or a "baby doll" for you!! You all will be in my prayers.

Margaret, it is now time to really say goodbye to you today. I have been thinking of all the good times, bad times, good laughs and cries I have shared with you. Margaret, you were a very strong black woman and I admire you for that. Even in your sickness, you never complained. You always had the right words to say to me to give me stregnth to move on in life. I will truly miss you. I thank God for allowing you to be in my life for a season. God Bless you and rest in peace. I Will Love You Always,
Angel

Ms. Margaret you will be forever missed sitting on your porch rocking in your rocking chair with your legs crossed. You have shared some valuable information with all of the children from the NEWTOWNE community and we are very thankful to have such knowledge you stowed upon us.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I’m so glad I got to spend time with Margaret over the summer. We sat and talked for a good while. In those minutes, I learned so much about my family. It was hard to believe she was so sick because of her sound mind. I asked if she was the last of my Grandma Juliette’s cousins she said “NO, you got Cousin Bea”. Margaret was never a cousin to me. She was the aunt I looked forward to visiting. I will always remember Sundays in Newtown. One of the best memories was going to Aunt Margaret’s house for chicken and potato salad after church.

I am going to miss Margaret sitting on her front porch in the summer. All my life she has been sitting on her front porch in the summer. When you think about everyone who sat on the porch in the summer, they all have been some type of blessing to someone in Newtown. Everyone who comes in your life is for a season, I had a long season with Margarat and I thank God he made her part of my life. She always called me Jackie Rabbit. She will be greatly missed by many in Newtown. My grandson Jaylen called her Ms. Margaret and loved talking to her. Margaret will alway be in my heart.

Margaret,
Thanks for being a mother figure to my Mom and Aunts. They were the girls you never had. You took the place of my grandmother Eva. When I brought my first car, you co-signed for me and I could never thank you enough for trusting in me. We will miss you calling everyone "Baby Doll". Well, you are now our "Baby Doll" in heaven and your fond memories will always be with us. You will truly be missed and I pray that God will fill the empty void.
