Dianne, Danny, David and Doug--your mother was a warm and caring lady who always made folks feel that she was glad to be there with them. I am grateful for the many wonderful years that she and Ed had together as well as how she continued to keep in touch with my Dad after Ed's passing. It meant a great deal to him and it was just one example of what a special person she was. My thoughts and prayers are with you all along with the hope that you will be comforted by many wonderful wonderful memories.

Jan and I were saddened to learn of Aunt Marie's passing. She will be missed greatly. We had a special time together in June 2009 when she and Kay were able to come visit Daddy when I brought him home to NC. I am so thankful to Danny, Diane, and David who brought her and Kay and made this possible. Daddy passed away several months later so this was then even more special. I won't be able to attend the funeral but we are coming over tomorrow for the visitation. God Bless you all in this time of loss.
