BARKSDALE, Marion, 84, of Sandston, passed away on December 31, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Barksdale; his children, Donna Welch, Patrice Fishel, Deborah Browning, Richard Wells, Blanche Gibson and Freddie Wells. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Barksdale was a member of the Sandston Moose Lodge and the American Legion. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2011 at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. following the visitation. Interment at Washington Memorial Park on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 2 p.m.
