It was a sad day today when I saw in the paper that Martha had passed away.
I worked with Martha from the lata 60s until her retirement. We stayed in contact through Christmas cards after that.
My fondest memory of Martha was when my four year old daughter
was in a contest and was upset on not getting a "king hat" (crown).
Martha told her Mother the story and in a few days she gave my
daughter a gift. It was a crown her Mother had made for my daughter.
Andrea was thrilled beyond words and played with it for years. It
was one of her prized possessions.
Martha was a special and caring friend. I will miss her.
Sincerely,
Kathryn "Lee" Koren
