To the family of Mary Thomas,
I just heard about the passing of Mary Thomas. I worked with Laymon at Probation way back in late 1970's. I also worked with Mary Thomas throughout the years at the Henrico Juvenile Detention Home. Both Mary and Laymon were great friends. Mary was always so helpful in many ways. She will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Edye and Laymon L,
My deepest sympathy goes out to you both in the loss of your Mother. I just learned tonight that your Mom had died, and I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom and Dad were great friends of ours and we shared many good times together and memories. I met Mary years ago at Henrico County down on Main Street, so it has been a while. Don and I were shocked to learn of her death. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

To Thelma and Family, my heartfelt sympathy goes out to each of you. My apologies for not attending the services but her service was held at the same time as my Aunt who also passed. Mary will be greatly missed especially by her friends in the Eastern Star.

I was on the Home Owner's Association with Mary and appreciated her warm support and wise judgement. She worked very hard as our secretary. She did a great deal to make the neighborhood a special place for everyone and will be missed.

Mary was such a sweet, friendly and interesting woman. She and I used to sing in choir together and I often gave her rides to and from practice after vision problems caused her to be unable to drive after dark. Every time she rode with me, she would have at least one interesting story from her job or her family or her neighborhood. I always looked forward to our weekly conversation ! I know how much she has been missed from choir and how much she will be missed from church, so I can only begin to imagine how much she will be missed by family and close friends. Lifting up lots of prayers for all of you during this time.
