I was so sad to hear of Paige's passing, she and I had just recently caught up after not seeing each other since our college days. I couldn't get over how beautiful and young she looked, and how witty and smart she still was. I will always remember her that way. My thoughts and prayers are with her family now and in the days and years to come.

Dear Kienel Family,
I am deeply saddened by the loss of Paige. I first met Paige and Jennifer when they came to work for me with Lancome Cosmetics. Paige was such a lively person and had a great sense of humor which we all loved and her customers adored. We all had such great times "playing" with makeup. It never seemed like work when Paige was around. Paige was a beautiful makeup artist and she loved it so much. I have not seen Paige or Jennifer for quite a few years but I think of them often because special people are never forgotten.
My prayers and sympathy to your entire family,
Becky Orcutt

Is there a smile prettier than Paiges? I worked with Paige off and on the past 10 years, and she covered my counter when I went on maternity leave at Saks. When I saw her last month she greeted me with that smile and a big hug. She was excited about her training for the Iron Man. She looked great. What a terrible, terrible loss. But what an Angel Heaven has received.

The last time I spent with Paige was when I was going through a difficult time with my own father in the hospital, and she made me laugh, forget, and appreciate...I am so sad for your and all of our loss, but mostly yours. My thoughts have not stopped being with you since I heard the news. I was a classmate of Paige's at Trinity, and this has brought us together in a uniquely sad and special way. My sincere condolences.

Paige was one of the most vibrant women I have ever met. When she came to work with us from time to time at Armani, she always had a smile on her face and stories that would make me laugh so hard. She was truly gifted in putting people at ease, making them feel comfortable and special. Paige encouraged me to reach for the stars, and follow my dream of moving to new york city. If only we had made the time to have a wine night like we always talked about...I will miss you paige, but I know you are in a better place spreading cheer and happiness to everything you come in contact with. I will never forget you.

When Paige tossed her head back and laughed that big, wonderful laugh, it was room-filling and if you were the one who made her smile, it made you feel really special. I met Paige in theater at VCU. We continued our friendship while we both worked for Lancome. When I was in NY for work, I visited her on Jane St. and she showed me a great time out on the town. We had so much fun. I was so excited to reconnect with her on face-book, as I had thought of her so much and missed her. We had just touched base about her recent move back to Virginia and I was looking forward to seeing her and sharing SCUBA and cycling stories. Paige loved fiercely and deeply and my heart goes out to her family. She was a passionate, vibrant woman who lived and loved with verve.

To Paige's family, I am so truly sorry to hear about Paige's passing, she was a wonderful person and friend. I worked with her at Wachovia Securities several years ago and her office was directly in front of me. We used to laugh, talk, and share stories with each other, and she would occasionally close her office door and help me with my makeup. What a wonderful person she was. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time.

Dear Ms. Kienel and family-- I am incredibly saddened to hear of your great loss. Paige entered my life back in the mid '90s as we were both actors appearing in a series of Murder Mystery Playhouse performances in the Richmond area. I recall a vibrant, young, beautiful woman who possessed an incredible amount of good humor and kindness, coupled with a smile that could warm an entire room. Life is such a strange thing. Paige always had me laughing.....Now, she has me crying. I miss her dearly. God bless you, Paige. May you always rest in peace....

Paige, my heart is so saddened by your passing. You were such a great friend and roomate (x 2) that I was thrilled we had so many fun times together. Our memories that we shared working together, going out together, laughing and crying as we shared stories will keep me smiling as I think of you! You were such a beautiful person, so kind, honest and genuine. My last memory was your smiling face and excitement when you made me look so beautiful last month for a gala! I will think of you always and miss you forever. Your smiles and humor will help fill the endless void I have now. I hope you have now found peace and are in a better place. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Love, Kristine

Dear Ms Kienel and Family, I feel so sad to hear this tragic news of Paige. She always had such a beautiful simile for me and most everyone else in our office. I always thought that she had a wonderful, quirky sense of humor and that she was a truly happy person. I remember her at our Christmas lunch last year, she wasn’t afraid to be one of the first to get up and dance with the belly dances and the mariachi band – she was so much fun. I’m glad that I got to know her and wish that I had had more time with her. I will miss her. Please know that you are in my thoughts and my prayers. Judy Cannon

Norma,
This unbearably sad news came to us yesterday, and I want you to know my heart is crying for you and Jennifer and Dow. Paige was always the
beautiful "big" sister both Rebekah and Jennifer admired and emulated. Our whole family shares your grief and hopes that in time memories of her beauty and spirit will be of comfort to you. Someone told me once that "time is your friend," and I know this to be true. My love goes to you, Jennifer, and Dow.

My beautiful friend, you were like a sister to me. For 16 years we laughed and cried together and shared things that we would never share with anyone else. Those times hold the most precious memories in my heart. I will miss you more than you can imagine. I hope we see each other again one day. The last text I have from you is your telling me that you were coming over for a couple of days. I keep waiting for you to knock on my door. The third floor is still ready for you! I love you my friend and the loss is unimaginable!!!! Love, Mary Lou

I remember Paige teaching me how to eat honeysuckle blooms from the giant bush on the corner of Cherokee and Southaven roads. I laugh thinking about how much car exhaust we inhaled that summer in our dire search for the most honey. I thought of her this summer when I taught my own daughter how to do this. Thank you, Paigey, for honeysuckle, tiddly winks, sassafrass root, swimming at the boat club, joining the Bo Duke fan club with me and shrinky dinks. I have so many more wonderful memories of our shared childhood. Mrs. Kienel, Dow and Jennifer, please accept my profound sympathy for your loss. Love Anne Boyd Steilberg Mize
