Mikey...Your lil' sis misses you more than words can ever express. Your girls will remember their father, your memory will live on in our hearts. You gave Alex wonderful memories, and being back into Drew's life meant a lot to him too. Nita...the true love you shared was rare, and beautiful. You amazed me too with your strength. I remember that convo when Brent and Sarah were little at the river...that will be in my heart for my lifetime. I'll miss you harassing me...I'll miss your frown when I called you Bubby...I'll miss you arguing with Rob...I will miss everything. I will hold close to my heart every memory to one of the kind heartest men, love of nature, and the love of his family. I guess mom can't put us in the corner anymore and you still making me yelling at you in the corner, you were the quiet one and I just had to yell getting us all in trouble again. Don't tell Mom it was funny to ruffle her feathers. Esp when we'd start laughing those genuine belly laughs at our silly kahounts actions. Our camping times, our long conversations, our losses, our common pain. You understood. You are my big Bubby...Your Sis xoxo

This is such terrible news. Mike was a true friend, who will be sorely missed. He was a caring individual, who spoke frequently about his love for his family. HIs kindness and thoughtful nature was showcased multiple times when he reached into his own pockets to donate to a fundraiser I setup to help a family who lost a 4yr old girl to cancer. I have had the pleasure to have Mike in my life. We talked all the time on Bassboatcentral.com and have gone fishing together a couple of times. He will be missed very much and my deepest condolences to his family. Rest in peace my friend.
