My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I use to work with Mike many years ago at Curtis Mfg, and can truly say that he was one of the funniest, nicest people I had ever met. Lots of great memories of us all hanging out together, always filled with laughter. So very saddened to hear of his passing.

Jenny,

Words will never do justice to the fond memories of Mike which I will always cherish - from his infectious laugh, his heroic attempts on the golf course, white beans and Pancetta, to the honesty and integrity he wore so comfortably on his sleeve . True friendship is so very rare in these challenging times, and I was lucky enough to have that with both of you. My family's prayers are with you and Max. Mike Dotson

I am at a lose for words. May he rest in peace and may the families get through this. He was a one of a kind type person that was taken too soon. Mike, you will forever be in my heart. God Bless! Kent Wasser (Chicago, IL)

Jenny, our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you and the kids during this difficult time.

I remember Mike as an always-friendly face. We didn't do a ton of business together but even years after our business relationship ended he warmly greeted me and we fondly caught up on family, business, and our favorite guilty pleasure of the Circuit City soap operas.

Someone once told me that to gauge a salesman's true nature ask him out to lunch after you no longer have a buy/sell relationship and see what happens. Mike was one of those people who would absolutely take the time even if he knew there was no "angle" for him. He was a true friend.

Jenny,
We are so very heartbroken-that is the only word to describe how we feel this week. We are also so very sorry we cannot be there with you, Max, and Sophie this week and for the visitation and funeral.

Know that we love you and will be there for you. You are constantly in our thoughts and prayers.

So sad to hear about Mike passing.

He was a teammate and a coach for me when I swam back at Woodbine. I remember watching in awe as he swam to a gold medal and Tri-County Championship Meet record in the 100 Free. He was an idol to all of us.

A few years later, he coached me to a gold medal free style relay and a we missed the Tri-County record by a mere 0.07. He was the man!

To my old friend, Kevin, to Mr and Mrs King, and and to all of Mike's friends and family, you have our deepest sympathy. Stay strong, you are in our prayers.

I had the sincere pleasure of knowing Mike for a brief time while living in Richmond. His passing saddens everyone he touched. Mike had an easy way of illuminating the people around him with his easy grace, warm personality and witty humor. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family and all of his friends and pray they find the strength and courage needed at this difficult time.

Jenny, I am terribly sorry for your loss. Mike used to be my teammate and then swim coach back in New Jersey (Woodbine), and was an absolute fantastic and fun-loving guy. I am sure he will be greatly missed, and I wish you and your children peace and strength during this difficult time.

Mr. and Mrs. King and Kevin, what can I say other than I am shocked, saddened and offer you all my deepest sympathies. Mike, again, was a truly great guy. I will always have fond memories of him as my teammate, coach and friend (especially his hearty, joyful laugh). Best wishes.

To all of Mike's family espcially, Jenny, Sophie and Max:

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all especially during this trying time in your lives. I had the pleasure of working with Mike years ago and no matter how professional he was during business times, his fun personality always shone through. He could definitely always bring the sunshine into a room/crowd and make everyone laugh. I had the pleasure of seeing him in Vegas in January and he couldn't talk enough about his wonderful family and direction his life was taking. He was a very proud daddy and husband. He will be sadly missed by all and there aren't enough words in the English language to convey our sincerest sympathies.

May you find strength and peace in all your special memories of Mike and may you be blessed with an abundance of courage from all the love and support of those whose lives he touched.

With deepest condolences,

Liz and the Chidester Family

Jenny, my thoughts and prayers are with you, the entire King family and your Mom and Dad. Your Mom and and Dad were very proud of Mike and always shared his and your family's accomplishments. I will never forget how his company helped a family recover and relocate after katrina. It was a gift to be able to be with you and him as you placed so many gift cards into this famiy's hands in their time of great need. I was so moved by this generous act of Mike's. May God Bless You All and Be With During This Time!
