DYER, Mildred LeGrande, 77, departed this life on Friday, October 15, 2010. She was born in Richmond, Va., to the late Samuel LeGrande Sr. and Lula LeGrande Groomes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd P. Dyer Sr.; three sisters, Margaret Posby, Dorothy Greenway and Lily Pearl Butler; and one brother, Samuel LeGrande Jr. She is survived by her loving and devoted son, Lloyd P. Dyer Jr.; two grandchildren, Karl Dyer Sr. and Tiffany Dyer Mitchell (Gregory); six great-grandchildren; one brother, David LeGrande (Helena); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She retired from MCV Hospital as a nurse with 37 years of service. Remains rest at Chiles Funeral Home, 2100 Fairmount Ave., where the family will receive friends Tuesday (tonight) from 6 to 7 p.m., and where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Interment Riverview Cemetery.
