I'm so sorry, I just found out today as I was looking through the Mechanicsville Local. Mildred was my mom's very best friend and a wonderful person. She was a very special person to me, especially after my mom past away. She will be missed greatly. All of the family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I remember everytime I wanted to have a tea party Nanny was always willing and up for the eventure. As a 5 year old girl this was a lot of fun and something that I always looked forward to, especially the ginger snaps she would always share. These are some of my most cherished childhood memories. I will always remember how sweet she was to us (Trentadue) kids and how she treated us like one of her own. It was nice to have a Nanny and Poppy that lived right next door when we were so far away from our grandparents. My thoughts and prayers are with the Sylvia Family at this time.

Mildred (Nanny) was such a nice, sweet, and loving person. She was introduced to my family by her granddaughter Kellie. We will celebrate her life forever.

Mildred was a wonderful aunt and friend.
She always had a smile and hug. Oh, the
memories of the card games!
She will be greatly missed.

I have known Mildred all my life. As a child, Mildred was my Sunday School Teacher. She was loving, caring, thoughtful, and a friend to everyone. Mildred was the "Mother" of our church. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.
