JONES, Nichelle C., 12, of Providence Forge, Va., passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Helena Jones; brother, Xavier Zanders; sister, Kiwanda Johnson; niece, Madisyn Banks; grandmother, Nancy Chesson; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Nichelle attended New Kent Middle School and was a student in the gifted program. She was an all-around athlete. Nichelle loved God and loved to sing for the Lord. She will be dearly missed and will always be in our hearts. The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. A Celebration of Life Service will be Monday, March 18, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Church International, 5200 Mountcastle Rd., Providence Forge, Va. 23140.
