Ray and I loved Oscar and Doris. He always had a ready smile and a treat for Jack. I have thought of him often since we moved from Gwynn's Island.

Oscar was a master story teller -- my favorites included the tall tales of the Alaska gold mining days. His friendship and generosity will be greately missed by me and my family. The pleasure surrounding Oscar and Doris have been hallmarks to the pleasures of Cherry Point that we will always remember. The picture I added was taken at the Clodfelters' 25 wedding celebration. Our condolences to Oscar's extended family. We met Oscar & Doris when we moved into our house in 1992 and they both were dear friends. Tim, Dixon & Reece always enjoyed their fishing adventures with Oscar. We all enjoyed watching their garden grow! Love to all, Sallie, Kendall, Dixon & Reece O'Malley

To Shirley and all the extended family of Oscar I send my deepest sympathies. You could not ask for a better neighbor. He loved our dogs, and had a treat ready for them. A few times a knock came to our door, and he had some left over dinner to share with John and I. I will miss his smile.
