Paul MYERS Obituary

Published by Richmond Times-Dispatch on Nov. 10, 2009.
MYERS, Paul, 55, of Richmond, Va., died on November 5, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Audrey K. Myers; and his two daughters, Tammy and Theresa; and three grandchildren. Paul dedicated 30 years of his life as a treasured employee of Bowl America. His wisdom, kindness and sense of humor touched those who loved him and knew him well. Paul loved the sport of bowling along with all the league bowlers that bowled at Bowl America Midlothian as if they were family. He will be missed by his family, friends, co-workers and bowlers alike. A private memorial service was held on November 8, 2009 at Joseph Bliley's Funeral Home on Hull Street Road for family. The family would like to suggest that any memorial contributions be donated to a charity of your choice.

It was a privilege to have known Paul since he started working for Bowl America. I still use some of his ideas for leagues and tournaments to this day. He will be missed.
