To All Of The Oliver Family,
I've known Beth for over 16 yrs and she's been truly an angel to my family and me. I know that part of the reason she's been so good to us is due to her raising. Her Dad, Gloria, Paul, and of course her Mom has made her who she is today. Mr. Oliver was always such a nice man and very hospitable when I had seen him in his home. My heart and prayers go out to the family as you go through this difficult time.

I worked at Pleasants in the late 80's to eartly 90's and enjoyed the good fortune of receiving training from Paul. As busy as he was with his regular duties he always took time to help. My thoughts and prayers are with Paul's family and the wonderful folks at Pleasants Hardware.

My Dearest Dad, Thank you for giving me your love & guidance. You are loved and cared for by so many people and we will all miss you.
I will be sure to teach Logan all about those "root hogs" -- I only hope that I can make the same sounds you did when you would tickle me un-mercifully as a little girl! You are forever in my heart.

If there was ever a guest book to sign, this would be it. My family has loved Paul for years and we have so many, fond memories. Funny times, great bowling nights, he always made you smile! Gloria, we are very sorry for your loss and we know you will miss him very much for he was such a special guy!

From John Austin

I worked at Pleasants for 12 years ('79 - '91) and Paul was the guy for many home-builders for sure. He was liked by all and respected for his ability and experience. He married Gloria while I was there and I suspect she settled him down some from earlier wilder days. I know it's been a sad time watching him go into the long decline and he will be greatly missed by family, friends, and business associates. I will always remember many times hearing Barbara Wiles paging him on the intercom. "Paul Oliver, call the operator. I have a call for ya." Pleasants had a lot of good old hardware men. Paul was good and sadly never an "old" hardware man.

I met Paul over 10 years ago at Pleasants. He also bowled in our league. He always had something funny to say.

What a handsome man! I will remember always the good times we shared and the unconditional love you gave me! Always a wonderful husband to Mom, a great friend to many and one amazing Dad! Hope you're enjoying your time with your buddies. Cut a rug, drink a cold one and enjoy the nice music. I'll see you when I get there!

With all My Love,
Susan
