PEGGY MIHALCOE Obituary

MIHALCOE, Peggy Lou, 80, of Varina went to be with the Lord on December 2, 2011. Peggy was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Lowry. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 57 years, Herbert A. Mihalcoe; and sons, Dan Mihalcoe (Gerri) and Tim Mihalcoe (Gail). She is also survived by grandchildren, Ashley, Brooke and Jennifer Mihalcoe; and great- grandchildren, Madelynne and Annabelle Bishop; numerous nephews and nieces. Peggy was a graduate of Bowling Green High School. She worked as a receptionist for Phillips Hall Realty, where she later retired. Peggy was a long time member of Hardy Central Baptist Church.The family will receive friends on Monday, December 5, 2011 at Nelsen Funeral Home Chapel, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held Tuesday, December 6, at Nelsen Funeral Home Chapel at

11 a.m. with interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Va. 23060

Herb, I am so sorry for you loss, Peggy was such a wonderful person. The three of us share the most amazing granddaughter and now Mady and Annabell also. I will always remember and appreciate how good Peggy was to Sarah, but that was just who she was. You start taking care of yourself now and if you ever need anything, please let Mike and I know.
