Phyllis Trice Bowen

BOWEN, Phyllis Trice, 69, of Richmond, formerly of Louisa, passed away November 24, 2009 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was a member of Louisa Christian Church. She is survived by her son, Dwayne Taylor and his fianc‚e, Martha Jones of Richmond; her daughter, Mitzi Hagan and her husband, Bill of Mesa, Ariz.; her granddaughter, Nicole Mincoff of Cheyenne, Wyo.; her sister, Virginia Brown of Mineral; two nieces, Pam Hart and Donna Vayo; a number of great nieces and nephews, and a dear and faithful friend. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Woodward Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2009 at Woodward Funeral Home, with the Rev. Denny Burnette officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
