In the presence of Jesus there is no more pain or tears. While it may be fanciful I think of Ralph and Lionel sharing a good laugh together. Love to the family from Marilyn.

Well, Dad
It has been almost 1yr since your departure. My life will never be the same again. It is a void without you in our lives. Especially, around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Grace really misses her Grandpa! She loves the lobster stuff toy she named "Crabby" you gave her. She sleeps with it most of the time. She must know where is "Crabby"! I will always remember the time I visited with you. You knew I was there. Your eyes opened and gave me a smile. :) Again, Thank you for everthing you did for me. It is not goodbye, but I'll see you later.
Love Your Son, Skip

Uncle Ralph was a such a great encourager during my younger years. I will miss those wonderful days of playing pool in garage. You were more than uncle you were a friend. He will be missed by many.

Gale, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Ralph, He was a blessing to everyone that knew him. you couldn't help but love him because his love for god just showed in his face. It seem like he always had a smile and a little joke for all. My thoughts and prayers are with you and if you need anything please let me know or Rhonda and she will tell me. We love you.

Dad, I'm so glad you're with Jesus now! Your soul is free! I love you! No more pain and suffering! Death has lost its sting! I was there for you until the very very end! Trying to make you as comfortable as I could and giving you grape juice by a medical sponge. The memories overwhelm me so much! Watching dukes of hazzard in the 70's, boxing matches, superbowls and of course nascar together, the fishing trips, vacations, bb gun lessons, lessons of using tools, getting me thru the hard teenage years, advice, all your love, sacrifices, help and support. Thank you for breaking the cycle and giving me a loving home growing up. Daddy, What a beautiful day it was for your funeral! The US navy honored you well with taps and the flag folding. I will always always miss your earthly presence, but I will still talk to you. And, as your last wish I will help out mom.

I was sorry to read of Ralph's death. We were classmates in grade school, and simply lost touch after high school. He played a significant role in my life during those years. I loved his sense of humor and was always in awe of his ability to be a critical and insightful thinker. I am glad our paths crossed.

We prayed that Ralph would get well but when this appeared to not be the case, we prayed for a peaceful ending. God does listen and HE responds to what is best. We cannot understand now but someday we will. May God bless you all during this difficult time.
