HOLLAND, Raymond Anderson, age 85, of Manassas, Va., passed away Monday, November 16, 2009 at Prince William Hospital, Manassas, Va. Raymond was born August 3, 1924 in Richmond, Va., son of the late William Bryan and Lena Siddons Holland. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 2562, Silver Spring, Maryland and the American Legion Post 10, Manassas, Va. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen V. Holland. He is survived by his daughter, Judy Davis; two granddaughters, Lori Davis and Melody Richardson; one brother, William Holland Jr.; and six sisters, Gladys Lacy, Doris VanZile, Alice Mathews, Charlotte Kelley, Barbara Rice and Judy Rice. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, where funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2009. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas. Condolences may be sent to www.piercefh.com.
