Dear Grace & family:

We were saddened to hear of Dick's passing. We have wonderful memories of you and Dick while attending First CC Church on Grove Ave. We especially remember the good times and fellowship in the TRI-M club.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I just think the world of all of you and so fondly remember many happy times as a young adult at your house. I admired your marriage and your parenting! My love to all of you at this time, Kathy Meyer Spratt

Dear Grace: We are so sorry to hear of Dick's demise. Many of our favorite memories of our time at St. Luke and in Richmond involve Dick. He had a great sense of humor and a genuine love for all mankind. Just thinking of him brings a smile to our faces.

We wish you and your family peace and comforting memories as you go thru the days ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I wanted to express my sincerest sympathy to the Newman family. I guess you could say I'm a 'long-lost' cousin. My grandfather was Alfred Holt, and my father was Bill (Billy) Holt (mother is Grace Lynch Holt). I reside in Mebane; in fact, I live in Alfred and Bronah's house. I hadn't seen Richard, Mildred, or anyone else since Bill Baldwin's funeral or when I was at Mildred's the day before his funeral. I do think of the family quite often. I never have the opportunity to do any visiting, which I deeply regret. I'm praying for your family in this time of sorrow. Just know that Richard is in a much better place than we are!
