I was saddened to hear the news of Junie's death. I worked with Junie for many years at a Life Ins. company in Washington,D.C. I later moved to Richmond to work in his office down in Shockoe Bottom. I was really surprised at hearing Monday afternoon of the passing of Mr. Cunningham. I had just spoken to him in church Sunday morning. It just goes to show that our days are not promised. When i heard of Junies passing it saddened me greatly, but then i thanked the Lord for allowing us to meet. I worked with Junie in the 80s and still have some ties in the closet he gave to me. When i think of Junie i remember a fellow that was a gentleman and a scholar and a true insurance rep. My condolences to Mrs. Cunningham and may God bless you in this time.

I was saddened by the news of Junie's passing. He was a great mentor and friend while I was in high school (Tee Jay) and college (Hampton U). He offered great lessons in life. He will always be remembered as a giving spirit. May God bless his spirit.
