Ruby Ford Obituary

FORD, Ruby W., 81, of Chester, passed away on December 31, 2009. She was predeceased by her parents, Jeff and Nora Wilborne; husband, Edward Ford; and son, Ronald Ford. She was dedicated to her family and especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the apple of her eye. She is survived by her son, Cary E. Ford of South Boston, Virginia; daughters, Brenda Mays (Donnie) of Chester, Va. and Nancy McNair (Victor) of Tampa, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters; and four brothers. The family will receive friends at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Sunday January 3, 2010 from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
