Susan and I were so sorry to hear about your loss. Words cannot begin to describe the void in your life. Susan and I lost our son, who was 21, 20 years ago, and sometimes it seems like yesterday.
You can keep going, it is just harder and different.

My therapy dog, Stewie, a Maltese, and I were privileged to meet Tucker when we visited the ASK clinic. I'll always remember the day we first met Tucker. Stewie was going to show Tucker how he could "play" the piano, and Tucker joined right in. It brought a smile to my face. Dear Scott and Leslie, We don't know each very well but i have followed Tucker's story very closly, i had left you both a long entry a awhile back on caring bridge,my son was conflicted with the same type of cancer that Tucker was faced with and is now 18, and my hope and all my prayers were not answered last Friday and I know that there are few words if any right now to fill the void in your lives. But please just know in your souls that he is now the sunshine and the waves that crash on the beach every moment of every day. I will be on the beach on Saturday during his service and I will feel him in every wave. I know I never got to meet him but I would have done anything for the ending of your story to be written differently. Please find strength in each other and in all the support you are getting, time will heal this wound and i wish there were something that could be done or something that could be said to make all your pain go away, but we know there isn't.
