Virginia CORUM Obituary

Published by Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home & Crematory - South Hill on Nov. 4, 2009.

CORUM, Mrs. Virginia Hazel, of La Crosse, died November 3, 2009. She was predeceased by two infant sons and is survived by her daughter, Margaret Corum Hayes Newcomb of Richmond; four sisters, Lucy Bracey, Dorothy Lacks and Barbara McElroy, all of Brodnax and Mary King of New Kent; two brothers, Clifton and Willie J. Spence Jr. both of Brodnax; several nieces and nephews and many children that held a special place in her heart. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with interment in the La Crosse Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity. Condolences may be sent to www.crowderhitecrews.com
