Virginia Sunday Obituary

SUNDAY, Virginia Glascock, of Richmond, widow of Paul LeRoy Sunday, died Saturday, December 12, 2009. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Sunday Brenneman and husband, O. Clyde Brenneman Jr.; son, Stephen Paul Sunday and wife, Barbara Levey Sunday; seven beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Thomas and Joseph Brenneman, Sarah Skankey, Molly S. Crawford, Katie S. Stewart and Emily S. Powell; four great-grandchildren; sister, Frances G. Rickman; and a brother, William A. Glascock. Mrs. Sunday was a graduate of Smithdeal Massey Business College. She worked in real estate rental for many years. She was a longtime member of Reveille United Methodist Church, where she had served as a Girl Scout Leader and a member of the Christian Fellowship Class. She was also a past member of Ruth Chapter No. 8, O.E.S. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, December 19, with interment to follow in Westhampton Memorial Park.

Due to inclement weather, Virginia's funeral has been rescheduled for 2pm on Sunday, December 20. The service will be at Bennett Funeral home, as previously announced.
