Dear Peggy and Marilyn,
We will all miss Vivian, her keen sense of humor, and her memories of the country. She never forgot them. She would always ask Carroll and I about how things were on the farm, when we visited her. She so enjoyed sitting by the window, looking over the countryside. She always saw cows around the northern side of the window, that I could never see. As a young child, I enjoyed my yearly visits with your Mom and Dad. You will all be blessed by your personal memories of your parents. I have some photographs of Vivian and Edith's children/grandchildren and was wondering if any of you would like to have them. If so, please contact me. I'll be glad to mail them to you. With love & sympathy,
Amelia

Dear Marilyn and Peggy,

Edith always said her sister, Vivian, was the stubborn one in the family. She did outlast them all.

While a loved one's death produces grief in our own mortality, it is only a parenthesis on her journey onward.

May God grant all peace and grace.

To Vivian's family,
Sorry to read of her homegoing in the paper this morning. Due to health situations, we will not be able to be with all of you at this time. We will lift you in prayer and thoughts.
