Wallace R. "Pete" BROWN Jr.

BROWN, Wallace R. Jr. "Pete," departed this life September 19, 2009 in Boston, Mass. The son of the late Wallace and Lucy Brown of Short Pump, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Warren; and wives, Helen and Barbara. Survivors include two sons, Wallace III (Jeanne) and Warren (Christina); two daughters, Carolyn and Mary Minor (Johnny); five grandchildren; three sisters, Virginia Butler, Marvene Carter (James) and Ida Brown (N. Purcelle); three brothers, Purcell N. (Annette), Allen Q. (Faye) and Dennis (Myra); aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Sunday, October 25, at 1:30 p.m. at North Gayton Baptist Church, 3244 Pump Rd. Rev. James Hedgepath, pastor, officiating. Rev. Cecelia Lewis, eulogist.
