Carol, my deepest sympathies and prayers are with you and your family. I just learned of Bill's passing this evening and it certainly is hard to accept. We had so many wonderful moments during the Special Olympics' Torch Run and the memories of that annual event will always be cherished. Bill was a truly fine man and a good friend even though we have not had much contact since my retirement. You are in my thoughts and prayers and if there is anything I can ever do please don't hesitate to call.

Carol - The memorial service and visitation were just right. Bill would have approved. We will miss him as an active member of the York Lions Club. I know he has been in and out of the hospital, but whenever possible, you made it possible for him to attend the meetings. You both helped the club on numerous occations. Thank You and God Bless.

I met Bill as a new member of the Electoral Board while he served as Chief Officer of Election for the Tabb Precinct in York County. He served his friends and neighbors by ensuring free and fair elections. It is my sincere honor to have known and learned from him.
