WILLIE HUSKERSON

HUSKERSON, Mr. Willie Howard "Sitty," passed away December 31, 2009. Willie was born April 22, 1939 to Mary Bailey and Tom Floyd Huskerson. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Willie is survived by his wife, Judy Harris Huskerson; children, Bridget Harris, Lisa Butler and Kenneth Harris (Michelle); six grandchildren and one great-grandson. He is also survived by four sisters, Mary F. Harris, Shirley Stitt, Maria Pollard (Houston) and Martha Mobley; four brothers, Tom Floyd Huskerson Sr. (Viola), Henry Huskerson (Katherine), Joseph Huskerson (Shirley) and George Huskerson (Bernice); three aunts, Ruth Floyd, Ada Bailey and Kathleen Bailey; one uncle, Ananias Bailey; one brother-in-law, Louis Harris; one sister-in-law, Shirley Collins; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th Street, where the family will receive friends Wednesday (today) from 7 to 8 p.m., and where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. Rev. Dr. Herbert Plummer will eulogize Mr. Huskerson. Burial Oakwood Cemetery.
