To the Monroe Family
Mrs. Monroe was my teacher in elementary school. She was my husband's teacher and my son's teacher as well. She was my favorite teacher because of sweet, sweet spirit and her beautiful smile. She was a very nice and a very patient person. When God gave you Mrs. Monroe as a mother, He gave you the best! May God's peace with you all. Love, Bertha, Frank, Frankie Jr. and Kenitra

Mrs. Monroe was a wonderful inspirtion to me growing up at Pilgrim. She was my favorite teacher at Vacation Bible School. She had the most beautiful spirit a person could ever have. She was always softspoken with a pleasant smile. I can truly say she was a Disciple for Christ and did not mind letting you know. Thank you Gladys, Nadine and Patty for sharing your mother with me. I will always love her and Never forget her. May God Continue To Bless and Keep You in His Care.

To the family,

I worked with Mrs. Monroe at the beginning of my teaching career at Kanawha Elementary School in Goochland County. She was such an inspiration to me. She said to me that teaching will not be easy, but it will be rewarding. You will have some that will appreciate your efforts and some who will not, but always do what is right. My condolences to all of you and may God continues his blessings.

God gave us a wonderful role model! As a little girl, Mrs. Monroe allowed me to tag along with her in the summer to Goochland as she prepared her bullentin boards for the upcoming school year. We taped and stapled all day long and with every staple and piece of tape we used, she put care and love into her classroom. I will continue to celebrate her life through the memories we shared. My condolences and love to the family.

To Lonora and The Monroe Family,

Though you may find the loss of a loved one difficult, God has already planted a seed of healing. The loss of a life should be celebrated for they had a time and a purpose that has been fulfilled here on Earth. God has promised your loved one everlasting peace. So rejoice in the love, the joy, and the memory of their life. Your loved one will forever be apart of you and your life. May God bless you during this time with an abundance of memories and love.

With heartfelt sympathy,

I want to extend my heartfelt sympathy to the family of Ms. Monroe. My journey through life thus far has been so successful due to the wonderful wisdom she taught me at Goochland Junior HS. Her smile will never be forgotten and the loving hugs she would give me every morning as I went to my homeroom. God sent an angel! With love,
